Photography
Capturing places, light and the quiet moments in between.Photography allows me to preserve moments that would otherwise fade with time. From city streets and coastal landscapes to portraits and everyday scenes, each image reflects a place, a feeling or a memory.Rather than searching for perfection, I enjoy capturing authenticity—the light, atmosphere and perspective that make every moment unique.
Journal
Thoughts, places and quiet moments collected along the journey.
This journal is a collection of reflections, photographs and moments that have stayed with me.
Some entries are inspired by places I’ve visited, others by conversations, books or everyday experiences. None of them are intended to provide answers—they simply capture a moment in time.
Welcome to my journal.
Books
Books that inspire my thinkingBooks have always been more than entertainment for me. Coffee & Cafés
Places where every journey begins.Every city has its landmarks.I often remember the cafés instead.A good cup of coffee, a quiet corner and the chance to observe the rhythm of a place are often the moments that stay with me the longest.⸻AmsterdamBocca CoffeeOne of Amsterdam’s best specialty coffee spots. A place where excellent coffee meets a calm and welcoming atmosphere.⸻GroningenBlack & BloomA favourite for slow mornings, great coffee and watching the city come to life.⸻HamburgPlayground CoffeeMinimalist, modern and dedicated to exceptional coffee. A place I always enjoy returning to.⸻ParisCafé de FloreTimeless elegance, rich history and the unmistakable atmosphere of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.⸻RomeSant’Eustachio Il CaffèA legendary Roman café where tradition and espresso come together just steps from the Pantheon.⸻PaduaCaffè PedrocchiOne of Italy’s most iconic cafés, where history, architecture and coffee create a unique experience.⸻“Sometimes the best way to discover a city is to sit down, order a coffee and simply watch the world go by.”
A Morning in Amsterdam
Amsterdam always feels different in the early morning.
Before the cafés open and the streets fill with bicycles, the canals become almost perfectly still. Reflections replace movement, and the city reveals a quieter side that often goes unnoticed.
Those are usually the moments I enjoy photographing the most.
Favourite Quotes
Words that continue to inspire meSome thoughts stay with us long after we’ve read them. These are a few quotes that continue to shape the way I see the world.⸻“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”— Marcel ProustA reminder that perspective often matters more than destination.⸻“Not all those who wander are lost.”— J.R.R. TolkienEvery journey teaches us something—even when we don’t yet know where it will lead.⸻“Wherever you are, be there totally.”— Eckhart TollePresence is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.⸻“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”— Lao TzuEvery meaningful journey starts with the courage to begin.⸻“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.”— AnonymousTravel reminds us how much beauty there is to discover—both in the world and within ourselves.
Why I Always Travel With a Camera
A photograph isn’t only about remembering what something looked like.Sometimes it reminds us how a place felt, what we were thinking or who we met along the way.For me, photography has become less about taking pictures and more about preserving perspective.
Yoga
Presence. Balance. Perspective.Yoga has never been about perfect poses. As a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher, I have come to see yoga as much more than a physical practice. It is a way of slowing down, becoming present and finding balance in a world that rarely stands still. It has taught me that strength and calm can exist at the same time, and that some of life’s clearest perspectives appear only when we stop rushing.Whether at home, while travelling or spending a quiet moment in nature, yoga continues to shape the way I move, think and experience the world.Sometimes the most meaningful journeys begin by standing still.
The Beauty of Slow Travel
Not every journey has to be fast. Some of my favourite memories were created during long train rides, quiet walks and afternoons without a destination.Slowing down often allows us to notice the details we would otherwise miss.
Zandvoort
There is something calming about standing in front of the North Sea.The wind, the waves and the endless horizon create a feeling that is difficult to describe but easy to remember.Whenever I return to Zandvoort, it feels a little like coming home.
Four Languages, One Curiosity
Speaking different languages has never been about words alone.Every language offers a slightly different way of understanding people, humour and everyday life.Travelling becomes richer when conversations become possible.
Coffee and Conversations
Many memorable journeys begin with a simple cup of coffee. Some of the best conversations I’ve had started in small cafés where nobody knew my name. Those unexpected encounters often become the stories I remember most.

Perspectives
Thoughts shaped by travel, culture and curiosity.
Curious by nature. International by experience.
Perspective isn’t only shaped by the places we visit. It’s shaped by the people we meet, the conversations we have and the moments we choose to remember.Having lived, worked and travelled across different cultures has taught me that there is rarely only one way to see the world. This is a collection of thoughts that continue to inspire my journey.
The Beauty of Slowing Down.
Modern life often encourages us to move faster.Yet some of my favourite photographs, conversations and memories happened when I deliberately slowed down.Sometimes the world reveals its most beautiful details only when we stop looking for them.
Every Culture Has Something to Teach Us
Living in different countries has shown me that every culture offers its own definition of success, happiness and community.Travelling has taught me not to compare places - but to appreciate their differences. That curiosity continues to shape both my personal and professional life.
Mathematics and Creativity
People often see mathematics and creativity as opposites. For me, they have always complemented each other.Structure creates freedom, and logic often provides the foundation for imagination.
The Value of Silence
Some of the most meaningful conversations begin after a moment of silence.Whether during yoga, travelling or simply watching the sea, quiet moments often leave the strongest impression. Not everything meaningful has to be loud.
One Last Thought
The world becomes more interesting when we stay curious.Every place, every conversation and every journey offers another perspective—and another opportunity to learn.
